Alexandra Merz offers guidance about wealth conservation and protection strategies during mediation, separation, divorce and remarriage.  Alex has expert financial knowledge of American and mixed domicile families and provides advice about:

• Protection of the main earner’s income and pension for dependents
• Inheritance equalisation and IHT planning for blended families using high value life insurance
• US and UK pension management including in-house expertise for valuations used in Single Joint Expert reports

 

As an American in London for over 20 years, Alexandra has first hand experience of the challenges and rewards of cross-border financial management.  Before joining Vie International in 2016, she held Managing Director positions at both Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan.  Alexandra is both New York licensed and UK qualified.
